Inspired Momentum Newsletter,
August/September
In this issue:
Greetings,
As summer ebbs from the shores of our lives here on the west coast, many of us are preparing for an autumn filled with learning, exciting projects and fruitful introspection.
New endeavors arising
Speaking for myself, I have recently initiated an anthology book project on various aspects of shifting consciousness in business with publisher Dawson Church (www.authorspublishing.com). The book will serve as a venue for the ongoing conversation about re-inventing business in ways that respect or enhance the environment, serve the greater good and support the livelihood and creative contributions of employees. We are now inviting well-known authors as well as new voices to contribute a chapter. To learn more about this project you may visit our website at www.einsteinsbusiness.com
Gems of the Great Re-Thinking conference in UK
In the spirit of life-long learning, I have responded to the call to attend the Great Rethinking Conference in Bath, England during the Labor Day week-end. It was a gathering of highly inspiring minds. As I am still integrating the gems of that conference, I recall Thomas Moore (author of best-seller "Care of the Soul", in the photo with me) speaking about the importance of honoring our soul yearnings for love, connections and pleasure. He believes that many of our problems, including violence and depression are caused by the lack of loving connections and pleasure.
Andrew Cohen, publisher of What’s Enlightenment Magazine, spoke about the evolution of human consciousness from the individual’s perspective. He said that the future and survival of the human race depends on how many people will awaken into higher realms of consciousness. As we awaken to our authentic self our ego naturally recede to the background and heart-centered values come to the fore. Based on this evolutionary perspective, we now need to create a new moral code to help us come together as we create the future.
Howard Martin talked about HeartMath (www.heartmath.org) ,how the heart communicates and about the tools that are available to help people access the intelligence of their heart while developing more confidence, compassion and creativity. In the past few months, I have integrated some of these tools and knowledge into my practice and presentations.
Although I cannot share all that I have learned here, I know that the new perspectives and knowledge I have acquired are weaving themselves into the tapestry of wisdom, skills and tools that form the foundation for my work. As I return filled with passionate ideas, I’m eager to help, to inform, to motivate and of course, to inspire through the personal, educational and business oriented programs I will offer in the coming months.
As I traveled this summer I witnessed, paradoxically, the deeper trajectory of my inner star, the part of me that is timeless and filled with love and light. I invite you to connect evermore deeply with that part of you wherever you are and bring it into the world in whatever you do. Turn up the volume on the voice of that inner star and let it lead you to a life that’s increasingly filled with gratitude, purpose, truth and beauty.
Passionately,
Isabelle
