Greetings,
At the end of April, I returned from Boulder, Colorado and Santa Barbara after a week of professional development. Having completed my graduate studies in Authentic Leadership at Naropa, I am filled to the brim with ideas, tools and experiences to share in organizational settings. In this program, with the guidance of leading-edge consultants and trainers I have deepened my knowledge about ways to support the development of consciousness in the business world; how to help teams to harness the powerful synergy that can produce miraculous results; what makes people resist change and how to lead them beyond those stuck places.
In Santa Barbara, I attended a Gathering of Pioneering Souls in which Dr. Barbara Marx-Hubbard was the leader and main speaker. At this Gathering, Barbara spoke eloquently about conscious evolution, a new worldview that acknowledges that humankind has attained unprecedented powers to affect, control and change the evolution of life on Earth. To engage in conscious evolution means that we strive to improve our ability to use our powers ethically and effectively to achieve a positive future.
The most significant learning I acquired from that weekend gathering is when Barbara explained that on a personal level she had been haunted by her inner-judge for all of her life. She said, no matter what level of achievement she reached, she was still not granting herself full acceptance as she kept hearing the dissatisfied voice of her inner critic. Now Barbara has a serious illness that she associates with the corrosive effect of this constant inner-judge. During the course of the weekend, she remarked on the positive effects of the gathering after noticing more serenity within herself and that her inner-critic had become silent.
Given the high levels of success achieved by Dr. Marx Hubbard, I recognized that she had been caught in a common cycle of withholding unconditional acceptance from herself. While understanding how this negative pattern can go on forever as it does in many people, I decided to release myself from this trap that has occasionally sabotaged my creativity and well being. After integrating this insight with personal meaning for my life, I experienced a breakthrough and tapped into a higher level of creativity while writing the content of a presentation for a group of entrepreneurs. The result was wonderful and the feedback I received following my speech was excellent, confirming my intuition that I had accessed a deeper level of insights and potentiality.
I invite you to consider taking the step of releasing yourself from your inner critic to give yourself love and acceptance, UNCONDITIONALLY. You will be amazed with the renewed sense of expansiveness and inner freedom you can reach.
Sometimes, it takes the assistance and support of a coach to turn your inner-judge into an ally that can support you into being and doing what you were really meant to be and do.

Poem from the Voice of Gaia - inspired from the Gathering of Pioneering Souls for conscious evolution. This is what I imagined that Gaia our mother planet would say if she had a voice:
Across the millenniums, I have been holding you in a rhythmic dance in the vast ocean of infinity.
Through the magnetic force I have exerted upon you, I have held you close to my core.
I have carried your burdens and I have nurtured your people.
I have witnessed your futile attempts to shape and control the forces of nature.
I have seen you kill each other and fight over my gifts.
In your relentless pursuit for more, you have fallen into deep amnesia and have forgotten who you are.
Yet, I have seen you embracing the power of deep, true love as it yields miracles beyond the reach of your imagination.
On the threshold of great risks and possibilities, will you now awaken to your true nature?
As you watch the remaining sand in the hourglass, will you transcend the illusion of your separateness and open fully into the heart of humanity?
While the fabric of your world is unraveling, will you reach for the strands of collective wisdom to weave a new vision and lead yourselves and all that are alive into a brighter future?

I will present at a conference for foster parents in Richmond at the end of this month. As well, I am currently completing new programs for personal and professional development that I will lead in the next few months.

Also, I plan to attend and now recommend the Annual Conference of the Institute of Noetic Sciences from July 6 to 10th in Arlington, Virginia. This is a gathering of very well-know speakers and authors (in the field of consciousness development) such as Deepak Chopra, Joan Borysenko, Marianne Williamson and many others. Youth programs for children from 7 to 17 are provided so my children Misha and Natasha are very excited about attending. www.noetic.org
