Inspired News from Isabelle – Oct/Nov/Dec 06
In this issue:
Greetings,
As this year is drawing to a close, I am grateful for the business and personal growth I experienced, the new friendships and the family bonds that keep enriching my life. I encourage you to ask yourself what you are thankful for and to ponder what questions will inhabit your heart and mind next year. When we can hold ourselves in the tension of stimulating questions, we become more easily oriented to the learning that life provides in its unfolding mystery.
Everything that happens to you is your teacher…the secret is to learn to sit at the feet of your own life and be taught by it. —Polly Berends
I wish you a most wonder-filled, joyous Christmas. And may the New Year bring you the ability to expand your love, your talents and your insights further out and deeper within than ever before.

My anthology getting printed
In the anthology, entitled Einsteins’ Business: Engaging Soul, Imagination and Excellence in the Workplace, which I have initiated last year with Dawson Church of Elite Books, California, co-authors are addressing many questions that can be summarized as this:
How can we work and prosper in harmony and integrity while co-creating the sustainable world we need?
This exciting, unprecedented anthology assembles over 30 authors including Peter Senge, Margaret Wheatley, Stephen Covey, Oprah Winfrey and many other celebrity authors as well as new voices. For this book, I wrote the introduction and a chapter on collective intelligence as it may arise in dialogues when the conditions for its occurrence converge.
In January, you will be able to purchase the book through my website. Just watch for the next newsletter that will tell you more about this anthology and how you can get a copy in your hands.
In Resonance with Joanna Macy
In November, I attended a wonderful workshop series with Joanna Macy’s in the San Francisco bay area. Joanna is an eco-philosopher, social and environmental activist and Buddhist scholar. In her workshop I found many of my values and ideas validated by her words. Some of her timely insights and suggestions are:
- Nurture your capacity to imagine and develop a passion for justice.
- The deadening of our hearts and mind is an even greater threat to humanity than global warming.
- In the courage to be with the suffering we see in the world, we are guided into actionable ideas. Revelations come from honoring and being with the pain of the world.
- Individually, most of us are accustomed to being critical of ourselves, but now it’s time to drop the project of becoming perfect, it’s time that we shift from aspiring to perfection to recovering our wholeness. Our survival on the planet depends on this.
And finally:
“The person we most need to hear from is inside our own self”.
In the coaching process that I provide, I guide people into shaping their life based on what they hear from that person inside their own self. If you want a real, powerful breakthrough in your life next year, consider getting a great life coach.
